It was a great honour today to meet with Mr Mohammed Al-Hawij and learn of his viewpoint with regard to the economic future of Libya and the ways that United Kingdom trade and industry can best engage in economic support.
During the conversation it became very clear that the ministry, and indeed the country, welcomes UK engagement.
The BLBA looks forward to being a major facilitator and conduit to this vision.
“2023 will be devoted to quality, intensifying our support to BLBA members and enhancing our business triangulation ecosystem. “
Indeed Libya welcomes UK engagement. There is some trade both ways but this needs to increase in particular for the private sector. There are plenty of opportunities for British Enterprise to take advantage of in Libya across many sectors, Healthcare, Education, Manufacturing, Security, Commercial Trade and much more. Libyan is open for business for both private and state sectors.
