Today saw the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the British Libyan Business Association and the Tripoli Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture.  

This significant event highlights the continuing improvement of commercial relationships between Libya and the United Kingdom and allows both organisations to focus on the development of mutually beneficial relationships for its members and the pursuit of projects to the benefit of Libya and the United Kingdom.

2023 will see the development of multiple projects, missions and delegations (both to and from Libya) that focuses on sector specific areas so that that the achievement of objectives and projects can be realised.

BOTH ORGANISATIONS ARE ALSO COMMITTED TO CAPACITY BUILDING AND THE TRANSFER OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS SHOWING A CLEAR ROUTE TO SUCCESS AND DEVELOPMENT

Additional topics of discussion included the development of trade routes to the UK covering Fisheries and Agriculture.

Exploratory talks are already being established to deliver progress on both the above within the coming few months.
